FSU Law Black Alumni Network Celebrates Outstanding Achievements of Alum

TALLAHASSEE, FL – The Florida State University Law Black Alumni Network (BAN) is delighted to announce the recipients of its prestigious inaugural awards, recognizing its members' exemplary achievements and contributions to the legal profession and their communities. The awards will be presented on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 9:00 AM EST.


The esteemed honorees are:

  • Markenzy Lapointe has been awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award for his historic

  • Judge Jessica Goodwin Costello receives the Most Outstanding Young Alumni Award in

  • recognition of her significant contributions as a judge for the Hillsborough County Court in Florida.

  • Judge Anthony Miller is being honored with the Outstanding Jurist Award, celebrating his

  • Attorney Ben Crump will receive the Enduring Legacy Award, acknowledging his unparalleled civil

  • Attorneys Jasmyne Henderson, Salesia Smith-Gordon, and Kareem J. Spratling have each
