The CEO & Managing Attorney of Association GC, G.C. Murray II, Esq., DPL, will be giving the keynote speech at the Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy hosted by The Florida Bar.
Attorney Murray, who is a nationally recognized lawyer and executive coach, will be speaking on mentorship, networking, combatting communication blocks, and intentionality.
"I titled this speech 'The Bridge Builder' because of the significance of that poem. One of my mentors, Gary Printy, Sr., placed it on the desk for me to read. It was both an explanation and a silent charge to continue doing right for future generation of lawyers. So as an alum of the inaugural class of Leadership Academy, I was thrilled to be asked to serve as the keynote for the networking session," said Attorney Murray.
The mission of the Academy is to enhance the skills of a diverse and inclusive group of lawyers selected from across the state to help them to become effective leaders throughout the Bar, our profession, and the greater community. Each year a select group of participants are selected from applications submitted to The Florida Bar to become Academy Fellows.
The lecture will take place today, October 20, 2022 at 3:30 PM at the JW Marriott Tampa, 510 Water Street, Tampa, FL 33602.
